Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT)
The best way to protect you and your family in an emergency is to be prepared at home. We know that first responders may not arrive quickly, but we can take care of our communities when we work together.
That is why we launched our CERT 1000 Challenge: A goal to get 1,000 residents trained in CERT in District 10.
CERT educates volunteers about disaster preparedness and promotes basic response skills such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization and disaster medical operations.
